It was a member of the oneworld airline alliance.

The airline was founded in 1978 by Lelco, an American company. Following German reunification, Air Berlin was sold and became a German company in 1991. It joined the Oneworld alliance in 2012. After years of losses, Air Berlin filed for insolvency on 15 August 2017 and ceased operations on 27 October 2017.

Missing Livery!

Air Berlin Airbus A330 is one of the missing liveries we would admire having in this sim, similar to the story WOW Air had. If you would like to see the livery, be sure to drop a vote down below. Having this in mind this topic is outdated. If anyone would volunteer creating a new Features topic for the Air Berlin livery, that would be great.

For now there are plenty of gates to choose from. Both airports must have at least 5 users participating.

For the next month I hope to find a lot of users taking part to respect the retired airline.

I will take a gate to San Francisco! I miss seeing Air Berlin’s A330 as it only flew here for a short time :/

@GlobalFlyer1 I will add you shortly!

See you soon. Hoping for more people. 👍

There is a chance I might switch my gate though. I love turbo props so maybe I’ll consider choosing a different aircraft.

Me and @Jakub_Astary would like two gates at Berlin Tegel for Vienna. We will fly with the A319.

@Philippe_Gilbert and @Jakub_Astary

I have added you two for Vienna, have a nice flight. 👍

@Matt_Miller Sure! I will hope to see you in the future Matt. Have a nice flight to Geneva.

It’s possible to have C5 C6 C7 or C8 IF one of this gate is free
Thanks

@Jean-Marc_Koumaya

@Jean-Marc_Koumaya I have switched the gates now.

Made light changes to the topic; hoping for some more attendants.
