That was a very nice landing!

To make even better ones here are 2 tips:

  1. In the HUD mode, try keeping the berdie on the touchdown zone to stay as close as possible to the glide slope. If it goes over it, you’ll start goig slowly above he glide slope whule the opposite happens when you have the berdie look under the touchdown zone.
  2. To prevent floating and late touch down, as I’ve experienced from flying the a321 continuously in solo mode, fly with an AoA of about 2-3 degress so it’s easy to do the approach and start flaring (pitching up) when the GPWS says 30 or 20 depending on what you see gives you a better landing, and then set the throttles to idle on 10 feet.

Awesome Tip. Are You a Pilot?

Unfortunately I’m not a pilot, but I wish I was one! (I got used to the a321 by flying it a lot in solo mode and once you do that with any aircraft you want, you’ll learn how to land smoothly with a bit of practice)

Oh Wow.

I’m excited for the Airbus A321Neo when that comes out. I will be doing videos as well when the Airbus A321Neo comes out.
