Clarification on One Picture Rule

Could someone please make a clear rule on attaching picture to a topic. Is it same across different kind of topic? I believed that there can be only one picture on first post of a feature topic then there can be multiple pictures on next posts. However, there is confusion on this matter. There are couple of feature requests that has only one picture which I think isn’t very productive since more pictures are needed to check multiple of angles on a livery request or to show each version of a plane (100-900 and Max for Boeing 737 as example).

You can only have 1 picture in the main post and give the credits of the photographer (links or just type the name). Only 1 topic per feature request is allowed. It will be also better to add data like facts about the airline, plane, etc.

Only one picture in each feature request? I’m talking about picture rule, not feature rule. I’m sick of people hassling about how many pictures you can post on a feature topic.

Refer to this for further clarification.

So only one picture on first/main/original post then multiple pictures on next posts for feature topic only. Am I correct?

One picture for the entire thread 🙂.

It said (preferably in the initial post) so it mean we can attach multiple pictures on next posts.

"No more than 1 picture per feature request (preferably in the initial post)"
Meaning, it’s preferred you add your one picture in the initial post, instead of having it down 3 or 4 posts, that way, it’s easier for the audience to see what you want.

Why only one picture per feature request? I have been on couple of forums and there is usually multiple pictures on a feature request. Multiple pictures would help developers lot and save their time since some of livery request is so rare or old that it’s hard to find more picture to see while livery.

I believe it mean only one picture on first post. Since you will see whole of first post in the link box so the one picture will help keep it short rather than a page long of multiple pictures.

It costs money. I’m not sure if it’s me being unclear or what, but I think it’s pretty clear why there’s only one picture allowed, and Phillipe himself said in a pos clarifying those rules…

Well on other topics, it’s perfectly fine to post thousands of picture like IF spotting, flight tracker, and real life spotting topics. I don’t think its cost.
