When I just right now was flying over northern Canada, I was excited because I thought I see city lights in the distance. I thought, maybe a test city lights area, but I didn’t have enough fuel to fly that direction and check it out.
Later I thought it’s some artefacts from the sun behind the horizon …

From what side of the airplane was that photo? Im flying in that área right now
I found it and im turning the plane in that dirección is in the left side of the plane

Well, now im a bit to far but I think that the lights are from the sun but im not 100% sure
Could you get any closer?
When you arrive to the área that @Jugliar said you have to make a left 360 and when you see It you have to adjust the Heading with the autopilot and zoom in

I get out of the flight but later i will try with and F18 to go faster. You also can do It taking of CYEU runway 28 make straight like into CYRB and near CYGZ you Will see It on your left and turn to that side to see It

Seem to be artefacts. 
It looked promising, but it’s like a rainbow- I can’t reach it no matter how long I fly this heading and those lights are the exact same direction as the sun behind the horizon.

I’m not sure what you mean by not having many people. There are over 600 votes on the feature request, and the devs are well aware that this is a feature that’s missing from the sim
