Hello folks, Happy New Year 🎊. We have made landed into 2025 safely and sound. What a wonderful year we had in 2024. We hope for the best in 2025 and in six days, I will be turning 25 years old. As you can see that as soon as that clocked struck midnight, in the blink of an eye, it’s 2025, meaning that 2024 is gone. So once again, new beginnings, and our New Year’s resolution, and what we’ll do differently from what we did in 2024, and what we’ll do better in 2025 than in 2024. And yesterday New Years Eve was the day when I flew back to St. Louis on Delta Airlines via Atlanta. Now let’s talk about Delta Airlines Flight 1510. As my friend got me to the airport, I said goodbye to my Mama right? Exactly, so then getting inside the airport, I checked in, got my boarding pass, went through security, and headed to Gate H9, my flight was expected to depart MIA at 12:49 PM, on the Boeing 757-200 aircraft. The next thing happened as it was 12:49 PM, the flight got delayed to 2:00 PM and I was completely shocked 😮 when that happened. Then @ 2:00 PM, it got delayed to 2:10 PM, then 3:00 PM, then 3:15 PM. By then, that’s when we started boarding. Then at 3:20 PM, we finally pushed back and was on our way to Atlanta for my connection before heading back to St. Louis. Despite that delay, I hoped that I did not miss my connecting flight since it was scheduled to depart ATL @ 6:00 PM. After that story, time to post the shots about my flight which will be something that I hope you enjoy, well, might not enjoy because of the huge delay. I remember hearing the news about holiday traveling to where at MIA there was around 42 delays and the rest of Florida didn’t have any delays. Therefore, this was what happened yesterday, in preparation for New Year’s 2025. Anyways, let’s get onto the shots in this first part.
First Flight: Delta Airlines Flight 1510 - Miami to Atlanta 🍑🇺🇸
Aircraft: Boeing 757-200
Origin: Miami International Airport (KMIA)
Destination: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Int’l Airport (KATL)
Flight Time: 2hrs 11mins
Date: 12/31/2024
Server: Expert
In the meanwhile, it was time to head home right? So as my dear friend Laura arrived, my mom and I said goodbye to Grandma and my Aunty before we were headed to the airport, as mentioned earlier about the airport procedures, here I am at Gate H9 MIA airport, taking a shot of the plane parked at the gate as it arrived at MIA from ATL at 12:01 PM, which caused this major delay. But anyways, let’s get this flight started to Atlanta 🍑🇺🇸
After finally pushing back out of MIA, we were able to taxi to RWY 27 for takeoff out of MIA, heading to Atlanta
After a short taxi, we got on RWY 27 and lined up before our takeoff roll out of MIA
And off we go as we took off RWY 27 from MIA, airborne to ATL. Goodbye Miami. We’ll c ya next time
After takeoff, we banked to our right as we flew over Doral 🌴🇺🇸, and then entering parts of the Everglades 🐊 en route to Atlanta. Goodbye Miami once again.
After we leveled off at FL360, we were then served Biscoff Cookies 🍪 and two Granola Bars and I got Dr. Pepper 🥤 for my drink while I was listening to music 🎶 🎧📱. After the complimentary service, trash 🗑️ was then collected. Then I took a shot of us flying past Palatka Florida 🇺🇸, from Seat 33F💺 before closing the window shade and taking a quick nap 💤.
Then waking up for our descent onto Atlanta, we flew over Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge, flying below FL200 before we made our way to ATL airport, aiming for RWY 27L for landing
Here we are on short final RWY 27L before that windy landing into ATL airport
After we landed at ATL airport, we crossed RWY 27R before us taxiing to Gate B7 for our arrival to Atlanta. So folks, welcome to the 🍑🇺🇸 404 Atlanta.
And we have arrived to Gate B7 ATL airport. Welcome to Atlanta folks. Time for me to grab my stuff and exit the plane since we just arrived here at 5:05 PM, which was less than an hour before my next flight and thank god that I didn’t miss that connecting flight to St. Louis which was going to be on a Boeing 737-900 aircraft. So anyways, getting off the plane and taking this shot, time to head on the ATL plane train 🚊 from Concourse B to Concourse A to where my flight was scheduled to depart from Gate A7.
As a whole, that completes the first flight. I hope you enjoyed the shots of the flight in general, but not the delay. If so give a like, and stay tune for my final flight from Atlanta to St. Louis going in part 2. So be safe and have a Happy New Year 2025.
