Chongqing Airlines A321Neo

To start this feature request, I must thank @PhorzaSky since I wouldn’t know about this livery/aircraft combination without his livery archive! As the A321neo get’s closer slowly but surely to being released, I figured it’s time I do my fair share of feature requests so the A321 gets as much representation as possible!


About Chongqing Airlines
As the name implies, “CQN” is based in Chongqing, in the south-central part of China, and has a single hub at Jiangbei International Airport from which they serve 42 destinations across China, Singapore, Tibet, Sri Lanka and Maldives! They were established and began operations in 2007, and is jointly owned by China Southern Airlines and a local development and investment company in the city

As of September 2025, they have an all airbus fleet, totaling 31 aircraft including the A319, A320/20neo and the aircraft that is the highlight of this topic.


The A321Neo and Chongqing Airlines
CQN currently has 3 A321neos with none on order. Each is configured with 208 seats ith the following specifications:

  • 8 buisness class
  • 24 premium economy
  • 176 economy
    They are mostly used on high volume domestic trunk routes within China including flights to Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Shanghai, as well as some of the longer distance international routes to Singapore, Thailand, and The Maldives. Due to it’s higher range, the airline plans to use it on further routes to new cities in the future.

Nice request, although imo the A320neo is more important, since it flies the majority of routes throughout the network, while the A321neo mainly just flies major domestic corridors and occasionally internationally. Just my two cents
