Guangzhou based carrier China Southern is expecting to make an order up to 10 Boeing 777-300ER’s and 20 Airbus A350-900’s. Industry sources say that there will be up to 30 aircraft.
They will be ordered to meet growing demand. They currently have 10 777-300ER’s and 10 787-8 Dreamliners. They do have orders for 12 787-9 Dreamliners as well.
If CZ is going to order A350s, Then how’s the fate of Sichuan Airlines’ A359 orders? I heard the 3 A359 (ex SriLankan) are going to CZ instead Sichuan Airlines.
Very smart move, the 777 is a very established and trusted aircraft while the the A350 is just off the production line and is one of the newest flying machines out there
