So after 18 months of training (about 100 hrs of flying) and atleast 750 hrs of studying out of the books. I finally passed my private pilot checkride :)

No three and a half hours for the whole thing hour and a half for flying

Ah. That sounds like a normal checkride. Mine was five hours
