After my recent acquisition of my new camera, I’ve spent countless days of the final weeks of summer break down south at the airport! Upgrading from the Nikon D40 to the D3400 was definitely needed, and I’m glad I’m done with the camera that took baby pictures of me 😂. Here’s some of the recent shots from August at GRR
Starting us off here, is the very first aircraft photographed on my new camera! This wonderfully backlit Delta A321 slowing down after coming in from Minneapolis, Minnesota
Next up is an aircraft I’ve been trying to catch for a while now. This United 737-900ER in the Evo blue colors lands on 8R after a flight from @A320_Flyerboy19 kingdomland
A wonderful edit done by my good friend @Delta. This American A319 lands on 35 🤢 after coming in from Dallas, Texas (go spot there right now if you haven’t already, it’s amazing)
A special that has been on the list for forever now is the Allegiant Make-A-Wish livery. Luckily, this aircraft was GRR based for a week ALONG WITH Winter the Dolphin, very cool having both Allegiant special being GRR based! This one exiting 26L after coming in from Portland, Oregon
Now since I have control over my shutter speed, I decided to give pans a try. A very low profile one, but regardless, I really like this picture of this United CRJ-200 heading down to Chicago
The second based special, Winter, everyone’s favorite dolphin, slows down on 35. She’s coming home after her 4 month vacation out west in Phoenix, Arizona
