Changing google account

Hi!

So, I need to change my google account for IF because I, foolishly, forgot the password to my old google account that I currently use for IF as I don’t use it for anything else. My iPad is on it’s last legs and all though when I get a new one, my Apple ID will be the same, I am still worried I will not be able to get into IF. How can I go about changing the account to a new one. Would I need to contact support?

Isn’t there a “forgot password” thing when logging in to google?

Not sure. I think it would require my phone number anyway which I skipped because I was in a rush…
