I was being ATC at Changi Airport today and I noticed that although there are taxiways to runway 20L at Changi airbase I cant send any planes to that runway.
Can this be fixed so that we can use this runway as well for operations for WSSS.

its not something that has to be fixed. yes theres a taxiway to the base but it is separate from WSSS and ATC at WSSS does not cover the base.

what I do is if I want to operate that runway I get everyone to taxi from Changi Airport to tune into WSAC ground and taxi to 20L since I cant operate it from Changi.
ATC at Changi does actually cover the air base now, it is one airfield - the eventual Changi T5 is being built in between 02C/20C and 02R/20L. The only reason 02R/20L is not currently being used is because the runway is closed for maintenance.

But if I am operating WSAC I used 20L for both approach and departure since I cant control Changi Airport as well
It’s unfortunate, but I’m not sure there’s a way to combine the two airfields smoothly, given how they are set up in the airport editor.

well a while back, a supervisor was my ATC and we both operated as if it was two separate airports. didnt tune to his ground till i reached WSSS. np tho i understand

Im not saying to necessarily combine them im just saying on the taxi runway options add 20L and 02R
You’d need to combine them in order to make that a possibility.

As IFATC are you able to divert traffic from Changi to this airport if the airport is in operation?
This is what I have been doing in the training server
It’s possible, but it’s certainly not an efficient or straightforward process – it would require a great deal of coordination and cooperation. I would certainly advise against IFATC members trying to do so.
I only do it during non rush hours and maybe to seprarate the departures
I also think that IFATC should be allowed to do it if they wish to do so or if there are lots of planes trying to get out some IFATC should opperate WSAC as a 3rd runway
I think more than this it would be more helpful if we had taxiway routing so that we can tell them to taxi on a specific route
Hello! 02R/20L is no longer used for civilian traffic IRL since 02C/20C re-opened late last year. Hence it would not be as realistic as it is practical to send traffic there. Thanks!

But I think more than the airport being merged we need taxi way routing.
