Change your active leg

I dont think that a lot off people know you can change your active leg on your flight plan so you dont have to worry about going to that direction that your gps says just go to flight plan and then if the approach atc contacts you just change your leg to the airport destination so that the atc can give you heading and stuff

So if you miss a turn, you can activate the next leg?

I think you’re referring to the button you press during your flight plan, either add or direct to, not sure, then when it asks replace or keep FPL, select keep

Oh ok, I didn’t know I could do that. I always get frustrated when the next leg doesn’t activate.

Whenever approach vectors me his way, i just change my FPL to the last point which is right before the runway.

There is also a “activate leg” button.

No, he’s referring to the “Active Leg” button. If you turn early/late and the next leg doesn’t automatically turn purple, you can do it manually.
