I returned to IF after being busy for the past couple months, and my ATC and pilots voice was reset to default.
I used to have the voice of the young-sounding like male, however it was reset to an older sounding male called “en-GB”
I do not remember the voice of my old pilot / ATC voice, but it was a very common one I heard nearly all the time. However, now I do not find it in “settings and online” where I can change the voice. It’s like if it disappeared.
Does anybody know or faced a similar thing?
Ps. I used to be IFATC before leaving due to inactivity, maybe it has something to do with it
The home screen should look like this: On the right, you will find the selection fields for Airport, Aircraft, Day-Time-Group, Weather, Server, and the Fly button. To the left of these options, you will see the airport layout with your aircraft icon positioned at a specific location.
Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner. This will open a vertical menu on the left side of the screen. Tap “Settings,” represented by a gear icon.
Another vertical menu will appear on the left, with the corresponding submenus displayed to its right. Tap “Online” on the left, and then select “Pilot Voice.” From there, you can choose your preferred voice or adjust the other available settings.
Probably need to re-download the voice pack on your device’s OS.
This can be done by going to the settings menu on your device>accessibility>live speech>add preferred voice>choose language
Download any you want using the blue cloud download button (you can preview the sound of them by clicking the play button). Once downloaded, don’t select any but just exit, then restart the IF app to chose the voice in the menu.
