Challenger Disaster 30th Anniversary

On this day 30 years ago STS-51L Space Shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds after liftoff, all crew members including Christa McAuliffe, the first teacher in space perished. Deepest Condolences to the Families of the crew. Hopefully nothing like this happens ever again. (I have seen/met the replacement astronaut for Christa McAuliffe=Barbra Morgan)

It is hard to think it has been 30 years

It’s been a long time

Imagine we have the more clear ATC footage between the pilot and tower …

While pilot is talking the shuttle blows up ! We could hear everything ( although it may be disturbing ) .

It is believed after the explosion the crew survived but died after the cabin slammed into the Pacific Ocean at 345km’h

Your correct but they also said that the crew would have blacked out on the fall but only they new Such a shame RIP guys

I feel bad for the people watching it live too
