Challenger 350 Profiles Guide

So what would the typical F/PM while climbing would be?

For ex. 3000 fp/m until 10,000 ft

Use this as a guidance. Basically use the maximum V/S which will still allow you to reach these airspeeds. Don’t be shy with the Challenger, +7.000fpm is perfectly normal.

I don’t believe 7/000fpm will do much, lol thanks tho!

You don’t but it’s just real facts, Deercrusher fly it IRL and he said it’s normal so you can believe.

I completely understand, but I just wanna climb it realistically like around 4000 f/pm and decrease it as I gain higher altitude.

As we said, it IS realistic to climb at 4000fpm faster/slower, whatever you want if you prefer it, so no need to debate about it 😅

Ahaha!! Sorry about that, my brain isn’t working! Sorry for the confusion!

Recently i see you fly out from OERK departing to GVNP Nelson Mandela airport using this CL35 . That range close to 4000nm . Do you reach the destination ?

The range is 3200 at most there is no way he made it

uhmm aschually the range is actually 3682m🤓☝️

So it could fly from Barbados to london if that’s the case

There are some brief mentions of a flare, but I can never seem to get it quite right on the Challenger. What’s a good altitude to start the flare, and what speed should I be at?

Cut the throttles at 30ft, let ground effect flare for you. The FCOM suggests 50ft, but that’s a bit challenging to pull off well. You should need almost no input for the flare - once the ground effect kicks in (it’s quite strong), just a mild adjustment upwards to assist it will do. If your wheels haven’t touched by the time ground effect wears out, just gradually pull up slightly each time you feel a “sink.” Try to keep the nose below 5 degrees of pitch. Anymore than that and it’ll suck.

Asome plane, its a shame a cant fly with it. I always crash with the take off and landings :grimacing:
Its so light .. but its the only one who can reach flight level 45! Wish it had more range it would make a great combo with the plane itsself maybe in the future a bigger privat jet would be cool

That why we need the Global 7500, 53000ft altitude and 7700nm range, Don’t get me wrong. The challenger is great at short, haul travel and medium half flights up to about 6 to 7 hours but anything past that we need the global.

1000% agreed! the bigger the better but a global 750! Cant say no to that:face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth::small_airplane:

Actually, it can fly most efficiently at 47,000 feet in the sim of course
If you want to maintain realism, use FL450 max. If you want more range, you could climb to 470. Trust :folded_hands:
