Exactly what I needed, thank you
I can’t see it in the guide but what is the max range of the CL35 in Infinite Flight in NM?
Thanks - knew I’d seen it somewhere but couldn’t remember where.
So far I’ve done most of everything right, except landing speed. I was doing 130, unfortunately, which almost led to a crash on Mackinac Island
Keyword… almost. If you made it to the FBO, SUCCESS!
Speaking of this… Do you think IF will ever adapt FLC into the AP features?
I think there has been some mention of an IAS climb mode but I think the devs said something about a hurdle they had to cross and how to deal with aircraft needing a preselected engine value.
This explains a lot. I’ve seen a few A350s at FL430 on a west heading. Almost every business jet I’ve seen flies at FL450 regardless of heading.
How would you go about calculating the landing speed? In Tyler’s video I noticed he was at a solid 130kts.
Landing speeds are posted in the main post above. Simply look at what you aircraft load is in IF and then refer to the weight % or KGS/LBS for its speed.
Thank you! Didn’t know I was able to scroll further right but I seem them now, cheers.
I like to make my flight plans using simbrief, but I don’t have the CL35 aircraft, can I use the challenger 300 or 600 to obtain flight information such as fuel for example, or not?
Yep! The Challenger 300/350 are very very similar. The 350 being a little bit more efficient than the 300 but the performance you’ll get would be near spot on.
I made my own CL35 profile on simbrief, I will share it with you when I’m on pc
Thank you! I’m thinking of doing a long flight with the challenger 350 and now I know the right amount of fuel, cheers!
This is how the CL35 profile looks like. I based the max fuel capacity, max passengers and max cargo weight whatever the max is on Infinite Flight weight option in the menu.
And empty weight, max zero fuel weight, max takeoff weight and max landing weight. I used these numbers that I found and converted them to kg:
What rate of climb should I be expecting? I keep getting 5-6000fpm when I’m pitching for 250
That’s pretty normal… sometimes even 7,000fpm. It likes to climb!
