Found this interesting trick while scrolling along the Discourse Forum. Here’s how to do it:
<div align=center>
Put Text here
</div>
You’ll have something like this.
You can put images in it too, but be advised, hit Enter 2 times every time you would normally hit Enter once. This is if you don’t want to see your fancy bold/italics/large text having no effect, or your absolute best screenshot reduced to a code ending in .jpeg or .jpg or something. But it can all be fixed this way. Here’s the difference:
Hit enter only once per use after the div align...
# _Ooh! Gibberish! Pretty unique for a screenshot!_

Right there, I tried to do italics and enlarge the textbut to no avail. Oh, and that jpeg is supposed to be a nice looking photoshop.
Hit Enter twice per use after the div align...
Ah, Much Better.
(Edit: The Image didn’t appear in the detail slot for some weird reason. See the comments for the demonstration.)
It looks well when you name your masterpiece of a screenshot as you can see. Have fun!
Me too. Unfortunately, there will always be those people that exploit it. In the past, I was pretty fascinated with formatting, so I did a bunch of research on HTML and Markup (Discourse’s built-in tables are pretty cool too, FYI).
If anyone is looking to improve their posts, formatting is a great place to start. It’s crazy how much of a difference it can make.
