Celebration Flight ~ KLAX-RCTP

I don’t dabble in the #screenshots-and-videos category that often, but a few days ago I flew a route that I wanted to share with you all. This was a special flight for me, as after landing at RCTP, I collected my 1060th landing and achieved grade 5. To celebrate, I decided to fly my favorite route (KLAX-RCTP), which turned out pretty great.

As a side note, I wanted to thank all of you for helping me reach this goal. It means so much to me, and I hope to be able to continue flying with you all in the skies of Infinite Flight. :)

Depart: KLAX
Arrive: RCTP
Server: Expert

Now, without further ado, the photos!

Parked at the gate at KLAX, preparing for departure.

Rotating off runway 07L, with a United Dreamliner in the background.

Turning towards the Pacific Ocean. Goodbye, Los Angeles!

Cruising over the Pacific Ocean at 36,000 feet.

Passengers got a stunning view of Japan, with the tip of Mt. Fuji just visible.

Beginning the descent into Taipei, with the mountains of Taiwan starting to appear in front of me.

On approach to RCTP. Flying during sunset is absolutely beautiful!

Touchdown on runway 05L. Winds were high, so my landing was terrible (seriously, you should have seen the replay), but I was able to get a decent shot nonetheless.

And finally, parked at the gate at RCTP, which concludes my celebration flight. Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

@Jetcentric Thanks! METAR favored the 7s/6s, so I just chose 7L. :)

@anon24319801 That one is my favorite! Thank you for the kind words, hopefully mine will be as good as yours someday!

Huh, 07L departures are super rare, but 6L landings happen almost every night between 12-6 for noise abatement.

Will keep that in mind for the next time I depart KLAX. Thank you!

Let me tell you, I fly, because, it’s fun, enjoy what you love ❤️— that’s what I go by, indeed if you are passionate then the effort put in will feel like a breeze ✌️

Keep flying and you’ll reach above and beyond the stars ✨… that’s probs some random black hole in universe so, nvm… stay on earth, fly to Taipei, that’s my plans for the next weekend 😎

I got my grade 4 back earlier this week, I was grade 3 for a few months. So I’m quite happy.

@Menthesuphisth Of course. ;) Thank you!

@Butter_Boi Ooh, very nice! To be honest, the grade 4 tag is a lot flashier than grade 5, so in a way that’s more impressive.
