Wow… one year already? I can not believe it.

To celebrate my first year on IFC, I’d like to make my first event! This event will be a fly-out, out of SRQ. Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport is located right in between the cities of Sarasota and Bradenton. Opened in 1942, it has been growing quickly, especially over the past decade. You can find more info about this airport, Here.

On a personal note, this airport has been the start of every summer vacation for my whole life. Although it’s a rather quiet part of Florida, it’s just south of Tampa, Florida. The city is known for beautiful blue waters, lots of sea life including manatees, sea turtles, the various barrier islands including Longboat Key, Lido Key, Siesta Key, home to the lead singer of popular band AC/DC, and former home of John Ringling, from the world famous Ringling Bros. circus. This city is just such an incredible place to be in.

What flight takes 1 hour or less?

Prob the southwest or delta ones to Atlanta, but also the Cessna ones are less than an hour in the fbo section. The delta flight to Atlanta is on the 757 which I would suggest as it is a very short route for this aircraft. The southwest one to Atlanta is on the 737. which one would you like?
