In 2024 Q2, A brand new Cathay Pacific Experience awaits you, as Cathay Pacific reveals new and luxurious cabins in Business, Premium Economy and Economy class.

After posting a teaser of some new suites on Youtube on 7 Aug 2023, Cathay Pacific finally unveils their newly redesigned cabins on Youtube (11/3/2024). Without further ado, let’s take a look at these fantastic and luxurious cabins!


Business Class: Aria Suite


The all new Aria Suite is described to be “State of the Art”, with special and intuitive features such as a 24-inch 4K widescreen TV, wireless charing stations, a new privacy door. Not only will your experience be personalised, you will also find “ultimate comfort” as lie-flat beds fully extend for a restful sleep. This elevates the privacy in Business class, with more comfort and practicality.



Economy & Premium Economy: Redesigned


In addition to business, the design of economy and premium economy class has been revamped, with elevated privacy, a 4K 15.6 inch monitor and spacious recline and legroom in Premium Economy, and new bluetooth audio streaming as well as adjustable legroom in Economy!

When/where will we be able to see these cabins?

As mentioned above, these cabins will arrive in Q2 2024, and will be first implemented on the B777-300ER.

Why are the economy seats wafer thin? Nowadays the better the seat looks the more uncomfortable it is. Even premium economy looks uncomfortable. The colours look good though

The biggest upgrade for this are defo the tvs and stuff

Amazing new cabin, would love to try the Aria suite sometime! I’d love to see an upgrade for the Econ seats as well tho, that is not the most comfortable thing to sit on for long hauls :/

I agree the colours look relaxing but I wish airlines nowadays make bigger seats even if it means easing the prices and having less seats on planes

Yeah like the planes in the ‘80s and 90’s when planes had sofas as seats rather than plastic and a bit of padding and 3 degree recline
