I know! I don’t like the A350, mostly because it’s similar to the B787 and that my fave😇I don’t want the 747 to go!

Why are they getting rid of the 777-200?

The A350 won’t dare to. Though the 777-9 will.

Before the Airbus fans eviscerate me, the A350 is too small, sorry.

The Cathay 747 is still in commercial service, just not passenger commercial.Cathay is planning on converting their pax 747 to cargo and also have the 747-8F for cargo. It wont be the end of Cathay Pacific 747 anytime soon.

The 777-200 are old and pretty much useless for Cathay now. They were big once but are now on short haul flights. I don’t know all the reason why though

All of the remaining ones are being flown to southern California to be scrapped. My buddy is one of the captains flying them down. They fly there on the 21st of October
