Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific is the flag carrier of Hong Kong and one of Asia’s most prestigious international airlines. Based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), the airline operates an extensive global network connecting Asia with Europe, North America, Australia, and beyond. Known for its premium service and long-haul excellence, Cathay Pacific plays a major role in transpacific and intercontinental travel and is a key member of the oneworld alliance.

Airbus A350-1000

The Airbus A350-1000 is a flagship aircraft in Cathay Pacific’s long-haul fleet and represents the airline’s most advanced widebody operations. The A35K is deployed on high-demand ultra long-haul routes such as Hong Kong to London Heathrow, New York (JFK), Toronto, and other major global destinations. With its exceptional fuel efficiency, extended range, and modern cabin environment, the A350-1000 allows Cathay Pacific to operate some of the longest and most premium routes in its network.

Livery Description

Cathay Pacific’s A350-1000 features a refined and modern livery that emphasizes simplicity and elegance. The fuselage is painted in a clean white finish with the “Cathay Pacific” titles in a distinctive dark green font along the forward section. A soft jade-green band flows along the window line, adding a subtle yet recognizable accent. The tail displays the iconic Brushwing logo in white set against a rich green background, symbolizing motion, fluidity, and the airline’s identity. The overall design is minimalist, premium, and instantly recognizable.

Why It’s Needed in Infinite Flight

The Cathay Pacific A350-1000 would be an essential addition to Infinite Flight because:

  • Major global airline: Cathay Pacific is a key player in long-haul aviation, especially across Asia and the Pacific.
  • Ultra long-haul routes: Enables realistic operations between Hong Kong and major cities in Europe and North America.
  • Modern fleet expansion: Adds depth to the A350 family with one of its most prominent operators.
  • Elegant and recognizable livery: The Brushwing design brings a clean, premium look to multiplayer skies.

Overall, the Cathay Pacific A350-1000 would significantly enhance realism, long-haul route variety, and global airline representation in Infinite Flight, making it a highly valuable addition to the simulator.

However, flights from Hong Kong to Los Angeles use the 77W, and Cathay Pacific’s A35K is the only aircraft type available for flights to Dallas, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and Paris.

Definitely looking forward to this, because now I don’t need to substitute the B77W or A359 for routes to Dallas, Chicago, etc
