Cathay Pacific 777-267

Source

(it may be a bit too late to post this, bu there will always be more updates)

Cathay Pacific operated 5 777-267s from 1997 to 2019. The registrations were B-HNA, B-HNB, B-HNC, B-HND, and B-HNL. The aircraft flew on short flights around east and southeast Asia.

We should have this livery because it would be nice to have more than 3 retros on the 777-200 (AA, AA OneWorld, and UA Battleship Grey), on an airline that is not from the United States.

Specs & Facts (via planespotters.net):

  • The aircraft used 2 Rolls Royce Trent 877 engines
  • The aircraft had a C42Y293 configuration, totaling 335 seats
  • The first Cathay 772 was delivered on July 31st, 1997 - B-HNA
  • The last Cathay Pacific 777-200 was retired on August 7th, 2019, B-HND

I actually really like this livery, I just don’t have a vote. :P

The blue is nice and shiny

Here’s a nice fun fact, B-HNL was the very first 777 to roll out. I’d say the livery should be added because of that

I’m quite sad that we didn’t get this, but oh well, maybe next time 😔

You have the update already? And it is sad, I do think I made this request a bit too late.

To be honest, I thought that there was already a featured request for this marvellous airline, aircraft and livery.

Shame that it got retired in September, I only got to fly on it once (I went planespotting to watch it’s last departure in Hong Kong last year) :)

The livery is a nice one.

Sure is, I prefer this livery over the current one if I were to be honest, this one truly is an icon in the Hong Kong skies and all over the world!
