Hi guys, if the A333 is going to get a rework shorty, I wish u guys can vote for this legend carrier. Once the best regional carrier awarded by Skytrax but sadly Cathay has decided to seize this brand as a measure to save the firm from Covid :(

It’s very unfortunate that Cathay Dragon (formerly; Dragonair), had to cease operations due to Covid-19, which we all know has the hit the Aviation industry alone, very hard. It’s also sad that this livery wasn’t added to IF earlier when they still were in service, but nonetheless, we can still hope for this livery to be added in the future for the A330-300, as a tribute, to-be-forever-in-our-memories, kind of airline, as we have many airlines’ livery on aircraft in the IF fleet, that do no longer serve the specific aircraft, or the airline itself, altogether has gone bust :(

Any Hong Kongers / Taiwanese / Japanese? Pls drop your precious vote to our Dragon :( We might have lost this legend in the real world, but we can still continue to soar the Dragon high above in the skies of IF :)

I’d be very happy to see this added, as it would allow for many historical routes, and man of which no other airline flies, and that we don’t know if Cathay will operate after acquiring some of Dragon’s aircraft 🤷‍♀️

This request is very much still in use. The last reply was very recently, only an hour ago, as of me replying to you, so yes, if you wish to see Cathay Dragon on the A330-300 in IF, this is the request thread to vote on :)

Then you might probably have to vote for this :) Until further arrangements, these Dragons would be operated as Cathay so you’ll still see them in the skies in the coming few years~

And did you know, most of the current Dragon A333s are transferred from the Cathay fleet.

It’s the unfortunate truth, but if they developers wish and decide to add this livery, either way, despite the recent merger (Thank You Covid… 🙄), then those who wish to, may fly historic routes, some only were available with Cathay Dragon, so adding this livery still would have, well not the most realistic cause but hold some memories with it, and for some users be a livery they’d still fly :)

They also have the Dragonair A321 though.

Good request, although Cathay Dragon ceased all operations in October this year. We need it as the A321 is the only plane to feature the Dragonair livery.
