Cathay Dragon A321

Cathay Dragon A321

Cathay Dragon (formerly Dragonair) is a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific. They operate short/medium haul routes out of Hong Kong with their A321, like routes to Tokyo, Bangkok, Taiwan, Seoul, and many other Asian destinations.

As evident by the above picture, the Cathay Dragon livery reflects its parent airline using the honored white tail logo, but also gives a nod to its former Dragonair, with the plane’s tail and lettering being red instead of turquoise. It also keeps the notable yet subtle Dragon picture at the front of the plane which was the icon of Dragonair.

I truly believe that this is an absolutely gorgeous livery. I love the way it ties Cathay Pacific and Dragonair together. It pairs so well with the iconic logos of both airlines. It would also very much complete the role of Cathay Pacific in IF. Please consider voting or at least leave a nice comment below. Thanks for checking this feature request out!

Voted! She sure is a beauty 🤩

They’re retiring them in 2020/21 though for a place for the A321 NEOs they ordered.

I will be completely honest I was never a fan of the rebrand to Cathay Dragon, but updating from Dragonair to Cathay Dragon would probably be the wise thing to do. I would also love to see the Cathay Dragon A320 and A330-300 so I can finally give an accurate representation to flights I have done IRL.
