Cathay & Air France Inaugural [A350] | October 27th, 2019

The beginning of winter schedule brings with it a plethora of new aircraft to airports around the globe. This year, we were the first airport in Canada to receive Cathay Pacific’s A350-1000 and the first airport in North America to receive Air France’s A350-900. As with every inaugural over the last year or so at Pearson, the weather was not the best (read: absolutely awful). Regardless, here’s a few shots from the inaugural of these two beautiful aircraft.

I can only assume they had some gate festivities going on because they called clearance 30 minutes ahead of their scheduled departure time but still left an hour late.

Actually only 4, Lufthansa is gone for the winter and Air France will be gone for the summer. Also it’s 3 until Ethiopian starts tomorrow.

Be happy with what you got we don’t get JAL, Qatar, Etihad any of that
