Woke up this morning and had the feeling to do a small roundtrip through parts of Europe, so here are some of my photos :)
During this roundtrip I landed at Genoa (Italy), Belgrade (Serbia), Bucharest (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), Thessaloniki (Greece), Frankfurt (Germany) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
Flighttime: 6 hours 45 minutes
Route: LIMJ-LYBE-LROP-LBSF-LGTS-EDDF-EHAM
Server: Expert
Plane: Boeing 747-8F Cargolux
Cruising altitude: Differs
Cruising speed: Differs
Starting from the Italian coastal city of Genoa.
After around 1 hours and 15 minutes the 747-8F came in for landing at the Serbian capital Belgrade.
Approaching Bucharest-Otopeni Airport over the Romanian capital (off course) Bucharest.
Touching down at the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
And after a quick turnaround at Sofia now already descending over Greece into Thessaloniki.
Taking off from runway 18 at Frankfurt Airport as seen from a taxiing Lufthansa A330-300.
And the last landing of the day with the Schiphol tower in the back.
Todays route according to Liveflight. (www.liveflightapp.com)
This is the first time I have something like this, but as it was real fun I’ll probably try doing something like this again in the future. But then probably with a smaller plane as the 747-8F forced me to skip a few smaller airports.
What was your favourite?
- 1 Genoa
- 2 Belgrade
- 3 Bucharest
- 4 Sofia
- 5 Thessaloniki
