Over the past few months, multiple people have been having the same issue with the person under the callsign Aegean 100. The person is named Captain Spiros CFU, and he/she is harmful to the servers of IF. They send duplicate messages all the time, using runways for takeoffs that are suppose to be used for landings, almost never requesting to land through ATC, and many other things. Multiple people have raised the same issue of this person not following directions from ATC at multiple airports, including EGLL. @ZCreaser, @Rob_Young, and @dca.iad.aviation had also experienced this issue. Captain Spiros CFU is not currently on the IFC, although I have seen some posts about him/her. I could not report Aegean 100 because my controller rating is so low. It really frustrated me because their maturity and behavior didn’t align with their account Grade. I would hate for someone to have the same issue with Aegean 100. If this issue has already been solved or is being looked at, please let me know so I can take down this post.
I have had many issues with them as well. Your best bet is to pm @moderators and explain the situation to them
When did you have the issue?
There has been multiple complaints about this specific pilot. Moderators are aware of this issue, and it’s being looked into.
You won’t be able to report anyone if you’re a Observer. Only IFATC controllers (specialist and above) can.
Remember, grade doesn’t matter. You could be Grade 5 but flying 250kts on short final.
Okay, I won’t DM them. Thanks for the advice!
I experienced them constantly parking on the runway and taxiing through aircraft and terminals as well as spamming freq.
Yes, they did that with me as well.
Isn’t just supervisors that can report while flying?
He’s referring to while controlling, not flying.
@NoahKerr Sorry to hear about this person. Spiros is a Greek male name and I already saw him flying as well. He isn’t the most professional guy out here but I think he just don’t know any of the IF procedures nor real life. I‘ll try to find a connection to him with the current Greek members here. 😉
