Can't post in spotting category

I can’t create a post in the spotting category. Any help is appreciated.

To post in #real-world-aviation:spotting you must be a TL2 user, while you are currently a TL1 user. Just keep visiting and posting, and you’ll be there within a few days!

Thank you for responding, Latvia. I figured it was something weird like that. The rules on the IF forums are odd by most standards. I get it though. It’s a way to produce artificial activity on the forum.

It becomes artificial when trying to get to TL3, but TL1 is just sort of if you visit a few days you’re allowed to go up a rank

I’m sure. The devs must have had some problems in the past if trust levels are needed to post in certain areas.

I’d say you need Trust level 2, just like @Latvia said. Just make sure you like others people’s topic if you think they deserve it, make others like you and your responses in previous topics and eventually you will become a Trust Level 2 user.

Are you also a new member? When did you join our community? :)
