ERJ-190. The B777 behaves the best I believe in these conditions.
I’ll try it and let you know you said a 10kt crosswind right?
I used 15kts
@LSZH34 10 kt cross wind fine 20kt fine at 30kts I had to almost use full rudder but it was due able the thing to remember in crosswind is increase rotate speed and dip the wing into the wind on takeoff also you have to constantly maintain rudder pressure. just keep practicing you will get it
I’m much more comfortable with auto-coordination on. I have never severe problems when taking off. I had troubles taking off with auto-coordination off
“Light forward pressure is held on the control column. Keep the airplane on centerline with rudder pedal steering and rudder. The rudder becomes effective between 40 and 60 knots.”, from the official 777 Flight Crew Training Manual.
@LSZH34 I’m not saying you can’t do it with it in planes in real life don’t operate like that so I don’t use it. And in crosswind situations you can’t dip the wing as you should with it on. I find it much easier to control with them in coupled once you get the hang of it
