While flying to LIRF airport, I was unable to contact ATC when I entered Italian airspace. I was called by ATC controller but I couldn’t answer. There was no option on the radio. This is the second time this has happened. I haven’t had any problems with other ATCs, only with the Radar Center. Have you experienced similar issues?

I’ve had this issue before. Perhaps it’s an issue to do with the maximum range of the frequency (i.e., there is a bug with your aircraft not being in range).
To solve this for the time being, click on the airport in the map, and select the WX page. From here, you’ll be able to tune the frequency.
Press somewhere near where you are on the map display (away from any fixes or airports) and you should be able to see the airspace name pop-up. Press this and it should then say who’s controlling (if anyone) and then select tune.
If you’re about to enter a controlled Center airspace then select the area where there is a white outline.
It’s a known bug which sometimes you can see the Center frequency on the frequency list and sometimes you can’t.
