The Unicorn Flights Vol. 1
Welcome to the Unicorn flights Vol. 1. Browsing through the depths of the internet I have found a list of the worlds longest flights, either commercial or experimental. I have taken myself the goal to fly these ultra long haul flights and take great pleasure in announcing the so called Unicorn flights where I am looking for likeminded record breakers to join me on these extraordinary flights.
In this weeks episode we are going to take on the 16-17 hour, 8,677nm flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport to the Southeast Asian megacity of Bangkok. The flight was operated by Thai International Airways as TG792/793 and was discontinued in 2008 due to lack of demand and the high operating costs of the long haul marvel Airbus A340-500.
