Can we get APPR on all big aircraft?

Today I was flying the Dash 8 & was landing at LAX on the training server. I CRASHED ON TOUCH DOWN! Can we have APPR please, on all big aircraft.

Only aircraft with auto land in real life will have them

You have to know how to fly manually before you use APPR, because you can’t use it for all approaches.

Well, the Dash doesn’t have autoland soooooo.

may I ask, how did you crash? Because the only way to crash was if you went into the ground. you might want to master the aircraft before using APPR. Also, as Nicholas said, you can’t be using APPR on every single approach. What if there’s a strong crosswind?

How bout you learn to fly, and then use APPR once you’ve earned it

Yep like some said you need to have the on fleekest flying because APPR can only be done on certain condition. And most heavies have a normal weigh above the MLW and APPR needs it below for it. Soo yeah

and the Devs will add APPR if the plane gets a rewok.

One solution, learn to land 😉

Check out the amount of automation related aviation accidents in recent history and you can see a direct correlation between pilots not knowing how to hand fly their aircraft and the rise of dependency in automation. Long story short, don’t rely on the auto’s. They’re nice for giving your hands a break in cruise flight but hand flying an approach is one of the highlights of aviation.

Actually I find APPR harder to use than just adjusting the AP as desired.

APPR always seems to want to put me 20ft offset from centerline.

Well I guess you need to learn how to land the plane.

aviation don’t want lazy pilot, try manually. flying safe

Or adjust the AP manually for smoother landing.

That’s what we want, smooth landing

Start small with an aircraft like the Cessna 172 and master it. Then move to the bigger planes and you won’t crash or need appr.

It’d be awesome to have the APPR added to the Boeing 737-800 & Boeing 737-900
