Can We Expect the ITA Airways A330-900neo Livery in the Next Update?

I would like to ask whether we can expect the ITA Airways livery for the A330-900neo in an upcoming update. The A330-900neo is an important part of ITA Airways’ long-haul fleet, and having the livery available in Infinite Flight would allow players to operate ITA Airways A330s on routes that are currently not possible due to the absence of the ITA Airways livery.

The community has shown considerable support and enthusiasm for the addition of this livery, with many members actively rooting for its inclusion. Given the strong support from the community, could we expect the ITA Airways A330-900neo livery to be included in the next update?

We would greatly appreciate any information or clarification from the team regarding its potential release.

Hey!

Nothing is at all confirmed until word from staff members. From 10 years on the forum, they’ve rarely hinted at liveries before they’re ready/confirmed for release. Asking through a nicely-worded topic likely won’t yield anything.

Keep checking here regularly, and keep updated on the official social media channels. You never know when the team may drop a surprise WIP shot.

100% wait and see, hopefully we’ll see it sooner considering the community support for the aircraft :slight_smile:

It’s ultimately up to the staff which liveries to add on existing aircraft. We never know the list until the release blog is posted.

The ITA A339 feature request has a decent number of votes, so there’s that, but it doesn’t mean that much.

It’s a wait and see game.

Picky probably isn’t the right word here…

Selective, yes. Each livery added is carefully considered by the team (at least, that’s what we think). Picky? Unlikely. Staff have stated that they aim for diversity and community-support as two of the main factors that go towards livery selection.

We have the ITA livery on two aircraft (?) in the game already, so there’s no issues with the scheme there (in terms of standard/not standard). Considering the community support for the aircraft, I’d hope (but not expect/confirm) that the livery may feature in an upcoming update.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see :slight_smile:

The reason I used the word “picky” is that some liveries have had strong community support for years and still haven’t been added to the game, while others have. That’s what I mean by picky.

For example, the Sunclass A330 livery that was added in the last update had very little community support, but it is now in the sim.

They add a lot of obscure budget liveries on the A320 and 737-800, which I can’t see many people want or need, meanwhile we still lack lots of flag carrier or mainstream airlines on certain aircraft.

We also need A330-200 in the ITA Airways livery
