hi guys. The new route is from the airline’s hub at Singapore Changi International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport. All told, the flight takes 18 hours, 25 minutes on the outbound, and an astonishing 18 hours, 45 minutes on the return leg from Newark to Singapore. The route covers a distance of approximately 9,521 miles, nearly 500 miles longer than the next-longest airline route (Qatar’s service between Auckland and Doha).
but can i use the b777-200LR or the 787-10 to make this route in IF, or what plane can make this route?
thanks a lot, once again i am sorry if this is a duplicate.
Oh, I like to be safe with around 15%. I also put the plane on max fuel, so 91% for the entire flight is quite a lot (I think). I don’t like to be to close to 0% just in case a go around or a re route.
B747-8 has fuel capacity about 23hrs. Earlier, calculations by “time to burn” was ok, so if headwinds will not be like 130kts - you can hanle this flight almost with any long range aircraft
