@757guy thats just how the HUD for the cockpit is designed what you can do is slowly move the hud in place the replicate how it look in the first image over the flight plan vector. Other from that nothing much can be done.
This is not an issue with the app at all. This is how the cockpit camera is designed, and the HUD is simply an overlay.
The cockpit cam will have half of the screen for instruments and half of the screen for windscreen view.
The camera can be tilted upwards to make the artificial horizon coincide with the real horizon.

Hi, this is focusing on your cockpit screenshot:
The long line at the bottom left is your HUD’s horizon, and the broken line to the right is your nose position:
Note that you have a small pitch up attitude, shown only by these two lines.
Note the circle just above your outside view horizon, that is the FPV (flight path vector - your direction of travel).
So, two separate indications here:
1)Your nose close to the HUD artificial horizon shows you have low nose pitch up from the horizon
2)Your FPV shows your direction of travel is pretty much straight to the Earth’s horizon (rather than somehat above or below), so your vertical speed is about zero.
Therefore, the HUD shows what your aircraft is doing, independent of the cockpit, even when overlayed on the cockpit at an view angle looking a bit different from straight ahead.
As far as “greased” landings: use power carefully to be at the airspeed that allows you to go from:
Controlling the FPV to be pointed down to your landing spot, but have the FPV able to be pulled up to just below the horizon at touchdown (that’s equivalent to zero vertical speed at touchdown = smooth with no bounce).
What i always do is when I am in the cockpit double tab on your screen and it centers your HUD
