Can moderators change the category of posts by request?

I’d like to make a topic for real-world-aviation, but I’m only a basic user. If I flag my post and request a category change, will it be changed?

Or does one have to wait until they are TL2?

Unfortunately, if you are not at the required trust level to post in that specific category, moderators (as well as regulars who has the permissions to change) will not move it for you. You’d have to wait till you’re TL2.

No, regulars and mods aren’t allowed to move posts to categories that the user who made the original post doesn’t have access to yet.
You’ll have to wait until you’re TL2.
