Can Legally Bust Through Clouds: I Dare You to Call the FAA On Me Now

🛫 Exciting News: I’ve Earned My Instrument Rating! 🛫

Hey everyone! ✈️ I’m thrilled to share a major milestone in my aviation journey: I’ve officially earned my Instrument Rating! 🎉 It’s been an incredible journey of learning, dedication, and growth, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this achievement.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Infinite Flight for being a significant source of inspiration throughout this journey. 🌟 From the stunningly realistic flight simulations to the supportive community, Infinite Flight has played a pivotal role in helping me develop the skills and knowledge needed to become an instrument-rated pilot.

The countless hours spent flying virtually in various weather conditions, navigating through challenging procedures, and honing my instrument flying skills have undoubtedly contributed to my success. The attention to detail and the commitment to realism in the Infinite Flight platform have provided me with an invaluable learning experience that closely mirrors the real-world process of becoming instrument rated.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the encouragement of my fellow virtual aviators, the informative tutorials, and the immersive environments that Infinite Flight provides. The simulator has allowed me to practice scenarios that have built my confidence in handling complex instrument procedures, making real-world flying feel more manageable and enjoyable.

As I move forward in my aviation journey, I’m excited to continue learning and growing, both in the virtual skies and the real ones. Thank you, Infinite Flight, for being more than just a simulator – you’re a platform that fosters passion, education, and camaraderie among aviation enthusiasts.

To everyone out there with dreams of becoming a pilot, whether virtually or in reality, remember that the sky is not the limit – it’s just the beginning. Keep reaching for those stars, stay curious, and never stop learning. 🌠✈️

You’ll get there. If you have your SPL, focus on your PPL first as that’s more important at the moment for you. If you Complete your PPL, your Instrument Rating will come to you naturally.

Sweet! Good luck on it. Remember, if you’re in the U.S., they test you on ONLY the Airman Certification Standards (ACS), so study that whenever possible so you know what to expect for the Checkride.

Iʻll sure take you up on that offer. Also, random question, what plane did you learn on? Im on a 172 with the G1000.

I fly a Piper Archer (PA-28-181) with a G1000.

Congrats! IFR is a difficult rating.

Super happy for you dude! Huge accomplishment! The hardest one is over. Its a walk in the park now from here on. Commercial is just building upon the skills that you’ve already learned.

I had trouble with Lazy 8s, you just have to let the overturning tendencies do their magic.
