Can I update Infinite Flight while Autopilot+ is active?

I’m currently on a long haul flight and I was wondering whether it’s possible to update Infinite Flight while Autopilot+ is enabled without losing the flight. Has anyone tried updating the app during a flight? Will the flight continue normally, or will the update disconnect me and end the session?

It’s possible. I’ve done it before when updating to 26.1. I was flying to NRT and my flight was still on AP+ when I updated it.
