Camera sometimes gets stuck locked onto an aircraft

Version Information

16200

Device Information

iPad Air 11-inch (M3) IOS 26.2

Description

While flying around my aircraft on the free camera, when you double tap the screen, it usually locks onto the aircraft but when I double tapped again, the camera wouldn’t return to its original position and the free drone camera was stuck locked into a very closeup view of the aircraft.

After tapping the screen from top to bottom many times (screenshot), the camera finally reverted to its original position.
After doing many tests, I sometimes was able to release the camera with no problem and the camera being stuck seemed to occur on occasion or if I was looking to close to the aircraft. I don’t know why but this problem seems to be inconsistent.

I also noticed this issue when I first joined beta around late February (mostly since the 16019 build) so I hope this issue can be looked into.

Just tested it out with the recent update (16272). Yes, I can confirm that it cannot zoom in or out.
What’s more, now the camera movement/controls seemed to have gotten worse and I was completely stuck after the camera locked on to an aircraft.

No matter what I tried, I was unable to free the camera.

No this is the free cam controls, not the control surfaces like tilt and roll, the issue in this topic is that the free cam doesn’t move.
