Hey, what’s up?
I am at KPSP and there are a lot of special planes and liveries, so I decided to share some with y’all!
These were taken at various moments of my day at random places, and they are unedited as I don’t have my laptop…
Anyways, let’s get started!
The biggest plane I ever spotted:
Anyone like contrails?
A Qantas 787 and a Hawaiian A330 at 35,000 feet!
A United Express CRJ200

Nice photos! I’m more impressed with that hummingbird XD
During the summer we get hummingbirds here in Colorado, and even with continuous autofocus on my camera, they are hands down the hardest to photograph because of their speed

Okayish on quality. The shutter speed seems not right especially the picture above the contrail picture. Needs work on it.

Nice shots, if you are still in Palm Springs, there is a decent spot at the end of East Alejo Road.
There are posts to stand on or you can bring a step ladder if you stay back from the fence.
That was at 180mm with the Canon 100-400+7D

I’m not familiar with KPSP or the area. I assume there is a military base of some sort near there?

Beautiful pics nonetheless. In a lot of cases, I actually prefer the unedited version of a lot of different things.
That C-5 is amazing! You caught the one with the old engines (General Electric TF-39) too! Could you hear them?
Those contrail pics are amazing. I always love clear days here when I can get contrail pics of planes I would have probably never seen otherwise (because they usually don’t land at PANC).

In all fairness, a bird can be considered an aircraft, sort of :)
In fact, we got our principles of flight and stuff by watching the bird.
@Camille You’re not dumb, even if, for some reason, aviation didn’t include birds :)

Probably took off from KLAX. Same with the Hawaiian A330.
But… why flying towards KPSP?
