Buttery 787-8 Landing In Warsaw

In the late evening, after a 2 hour delay, LOT Polish Airlines flight 7 has finally departed New York’s JFK international airport using runway 31L. With a take off weight of “just” 191.5 tons, the 787 got off the ground in no time, only a few seconds after crossing runway 4L. After the departure, the flight crew has climbed to 39,000ft somewhere over Massachusetts and started the in-flight service by offering the first meal during this flight. Some time later, the aircraft has entered the “S” oceanic track at an altitude of 40,000ft. After “crossing the pond”, the flight crew climbed to 41,000ft somewhere over Ireland. In no time, the flight has reached its top of descent, over Wielkopolska, Poland. The aircraft has smoothly descended through BIMP4P arrival and entered the visual approach runway 15 at about 9:30am local time. With some crosswind, the approach proved to be a bit challenging, however the experienced flight crew has managed to make a safe and smooth landing at Warsaw Chopin Airport. After landing, the aircraft crossed runway 29/11 and taxiied to gate 11 where the 252 passengers could finally leave the aircraft after over 7 hours spent in the air.
