You gotta be REALLY light, also calibrate your device so it’s nearly flat on your desk or whatever you rest your device on, so when you make it comfortable in your hands, it’s flaring for you, be idle on short final. The CRJ has a habit of floating when your under 30 above the ground, you gotta be very gentle. I know this is surprising, but I recommend an outside view for the CRJ, as it is easier to tell your pitch since the CRJ’s nose gear sits lower than the main gear. And obviously, practice.

Also, same thing for the MD-11 and DC-10, they don’t like to flare

I think after I have practiced 2 years CRJ landing, I can only do -100fpm

It’s quite a stubborn aircraft.

Once you get used to the MD-11 its a butter machine, I got -4fpm in it yesterday lol
