Bumped down to grade 3

Hey everyone,

I’m absolutely furious right now. I logged onto Infinite Flight today and found out I’m back at Grade 3. I was Grade 4, nearly at Grade 5, and I’ve been flying most days putting in serious effort. Even when I couldn’t finish a full flight, I’d return to it to keep pushing towards Grade 5. I worked so hard for this and now, just like that, I’m shoved back down to Grade 3?? Seriously??

I’m beyond frustrated. Could this be some kind of glitch or something? Because this makes no sense at all. I hate the thought of having to grind again just to get back to Grade 4, never mind Grade 5. It’s a complete slap in the face.

And it gets even better — I noticed my landings aren’t even being recorded properly! I did a little test: I had 97 landings done. I did a quick hop from Manchester to Dublin to make it 98. Guess what? It didn’t count.

I thought this rule was abandoned a few updates ago?? iOS 18.4.1

There are still the 90 day requirements for Grade 4 and Grade 5. They were just removed for Grades 1-3.

As for why the landings aren’t counting - that’s a separate issue. Just to double check - you are meeting the following requirements:

  • on a multiplayer server
  • landings are minimum 30 seconds apart (probably not relevant here since it was a regular flight and not pattern work)
  • touchdown point is on a runway
  • at least one of the main gears touching the ground
  • ground speed above 10kts

I’ve been flying nearly every day, esp short flights. This is really ridiculous. My landings are not even being recorded. I’ll do another flight and see what happens. Even when working, I come back to it and compete the flight.
