1st Appr (Inbound Vis):
Slightly inefficient routing but I’m not complaining since there was no terrain bust
But you can be failed for inefficient routing
If you’re gonna use speed to build seperation make sure to do it early
Make sure to ask RAIS as soon as you get an Acft on DW or base to ease your workload
2nd Appr (ILS):
You vectored me onto CrossWind and then onto Downwind, this is not necessary and you could have just given me heading 200 to get me directly onto DW
DW width was 8.8nm roughly, 6 to 7 is recommended for ILS and GPS TRFC
While I am not gonna count anything that happened on DW and base cause i disconnected (sorry:pensive_face:) my ILS intercept could have been higher at 9.5 or 10k ft cause i had a terrain bust after descending to 9k as instructed
No issues other than that

My GPS approach was very much straightforward, so no issues there

On my ILS approach, my downwind turn was issued late after the conflict with the other aircraft in downwind was resolved, leading to a wide downwind.

On my ILS clearance, I overshoot and no reverse intercept was given. Never just watch pilots struggle to capture the LOC when they overshoot, always help them with a reverse.

If you want smoother ILS intercepts at MMMX, you need to slow down the pilots on base so they don’t exceed 170kts. If you do 180-200kts there, you are basically clearing them at 220-250kts due to the airport elevation.

ILS Approach
- the vectoring was slightly on a inefficient side for my inbound - a vector to the airport at the beginning + being at 14000’ longer contributed to the need to vector me more from the airport to give some extra time to descend to 10000’
Here is a photo of my flown track (red) + some additional potential tracks (yellow and blue)

got descended to 9000’ very near 10000’ MSA area, got quite close to the bust - 1020-1050’ AGL at multiple instances

overshoot the LOC, could’ve issued me a reverse intercept
