Bulgaria Air, a Bulgarian national airline, will see maiden its first Airbus A330-300 in June 2018 ahead of the new long haul services to the United States from its primary hub at Sofia Airport. The first of four aircraft will be leased from the AerCap group and all powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 772B engines. The A330-300s, configured in a two-class arrangement seating 26 passengers in Business Class and 300 in Economy.
“The first A330-300 will be delivered to the new operator” said Hristo Todorov, the CEO of Bulgaria Air.
It operates a fleet of 10 aircraft and carries more than 1.2 million passengers a year. It also plans to introduce new services to China, India and Southeast Asia.
