I don’t know how the buildings will work with what we do at IFAET, but I do know the only reason this area isn’t added, is because the imagery of the completed concourse isn’t available yet.
We will not be moving to PC

Airport buildings are a mix of procedurally generated and handcrafted models. We are building tools to make it easy to create complex airports quickly but they will remain internal for now. We use OpenStreetMap data to get an initial building footprint to start from. Objects are placed by hand and we will provide more information on this in a future post.
I’d work very hard to perfection should IF team allow community help to edit the buildings,
because I’d hate to see my airport by the Kuta beach that’s supposed to look like this:
…being represented otherwise with generic repetitive blue-colored blocks, that’d be soul-less lol :)

These innovations sound great! But I have another question about that. You write that the buildings are installed individually by the developers. In version one, there will be few airports that have the buildings, but how do you plan that for the future, will every airport in the world have buildings?

The only airport we are currently making known is KSFO. We do not have any more information at this time to share on this.
