57. Almaty

The next destination is the most populated city in Kazakhstan, Almaty. This beautiful city located in the South East of the country is surrounded by the Pik Talgar mountains to the South and Lake Sorbulaq to the North, which allows for plenty of locations if you are a fan of hiking. If you manage to scale the mountains you will be greeted with a gorgeous view of Issyk Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan just across the border and on a good day you might even see the top of Bogeda Peak in China. In the winter the hiking trails in the mountains quickly become ski slopes and with plenty of ski resorts around there is no shortage of fun! So pack your ski boots and woolly hats because we are going to Kazakhstan!

58. Denver

The next destination on the list is the state capital of Colorado, Denver! This route was a suggestion for @xXDuhItzMacXx, always lovely to get a route from the IFC! I am sure most of you, if not all already know where Denver is and what is so good about this wonderous city, but if you don’t, then I am more than happy to tell you! This city is not only at the foot of Mount Evans and Mount Lincoln, but also has easy access to plenty of National Forests and State Parks which offer some picturesque scenery and beautiful views! But if the hustle and bustle of the city is what attracts you more there is plenty of museums and sights to see in the city too including the City Park! So make sure to pack your camera and hiking boots because we are heading to Denver!

59. Langkawi

The next destination on the list is an island located in the North of Malaysia near the Thai border, Langkawi! This is one of my destinations and is very dear to me as it was one of the first and few trips I have taken on my own and I would love to go back and spend some more time exploring the parts of the island and surrounding islands I missed! Since I have been here before the picture used is one that I have taken and for every destination I have been that I have a picture for (some I will not through upgrading my phone) I will use one of my pictures. This island is full of some fantastic views, especially from the Langkawi Skybridge which gives you a full 360 view of the island and on a good day even offers you views of mainland Malaysia and Thailand. With its golden sand beaches, mountainous beauty and delicious night market treats this destination is one that I highly recommend you add to your bucketlist! This island is also very peculiar in the way that the entire island is duty free so if you are in need of some cheap booze that is expensive at home, this is the place for you! Since I have actually flown to this destination IRL we shall be copying the route I used with the exact same aircraft. So bring your shopping bag and pack your camera because we are heading to Malaysia!

The next destination on the list is the capital of Spain, Madrid! This beautiful is full of old European styles of architecture and some lovely views, however this city will hold some special memories for football fans in Europe, especially is you support Real Madrid or Atlético de Madrid. This city is on many football fans bucket lists so they can sit in the stands of the Santiago Bernabéu and experience the electric atmosphere. So pack your bags and prepare to sing along to some of the local football chants, because we are heading to Madrid!

61. Saint Helena

The next destination on the list is a small island off the West coast of Africa, Saint Helena! This island has become famous around the world for its appearances in many documentaries, highlighting it as a stunning place for hiking and relaxing holidays for travellers around the world. While this small island is extremely remote and extremely far from the next island, there is regular flights run by Airlink from Johannesburg, meaning this island isn’t completely cut off from the rest of the world. However, once you are on this island it is possible you will never want to leave as the views, hiking trails and if you know how to sail, the sailing possibilities are enough to have you retire young and happily! So put on your boat shoes and pop a glass of the bubbly because we are heading to Saint Helena!
