Brussels Airlines just dropped their newest Belgian Icon livery, and it’s inspired by the Atomium! :star_struck: The big reveal happened on March 26th, 2025 at Brussels Airport and we were lucky enough to be there in person to check it out up close. But wait, it gets better…

They also invited us to go behind the scenes at Airbourne Colours in East Midlands where the livery was painted. We got to check out the aircraft in the paint shop with Andre Eisele, an talented airbrush artist who brought the design to life with his team.

The livery was created by Thomas Faes, who won the design contest in 2024 and honestly, it looks pretty cool!

It would be nice having at least a new livery into the game as we have non in the Sim rn. (we do have 2 old liveries but the one on the A319 doesn’t exist irl anymore)

Even just adding the new A320ceo and neo livery would make flying this airline tons more fun. I hope the airline gets the same treatment as Edelweiss A350, it being added into the game.

Awesome to see Brussels Airlines get some recognition!

Very nice video Dan. I’ve always been interested in the painting process of Brussels Airlines’ Belgian Icons. They really hit the nail on the head again with this livery, such a nice job by Thomas designing it.

“Atomium” certainly is a nice addition to go alongside “Trident” (2.0) and “Amare” (2.0), as well as “Rackham” currently (for as long as she stays operational).

Hoping Brussels Airlines gets some more attention in the simulator now.

this is seriously cool, The Atomium inspired livery looks insane massive props to Thomas Faes for the design and Andre Eisele for bringing it to life. Also, huge shoutout to Dan for taking us behind the scenes like this. Love seeing the effort that goes into making something this epic.

Can’t wait to fly it in IF.
