Oh wow, I just checked it out! From Bakki airport (BIBA), I flew east along the south coast toward the most southerly point of Iceland where there is the so-called Black Sand Beach. But you see it as soon as you depart Bakki.

Yep! We were in a town called Borgarnes, and they have some black sand beaches up there as well.
